The
roof for the Eastwind house required a way to blend traditional
Japanese construction techniques with European craftsmanship in
a Silicon Valley setting. Owner and noted Japanese home designer
Len Brackett worked closely with CF Slating to create a slating
solution of black Spanish slate over a copper roof. Our application
of copper under a symmetrical slate pattern produced a clean, conservative
look that accentuated the Asian architecture. |
